The Cake Decorator will play a crucial role in our production line, applying icing and finishing touches to cakes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position demands a high level of precision and the ability to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, a focus on quality control, and the discipline to replicate standardized cake designs with consistency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Cake Decorator, ideally in a high-volume bakery or food production environment.
  • Proficiency in using a palette knife for cake finishing with a strong emphasis on quality and uniformity.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing a consistent product.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
    Salary will commensurate with experience.
    This is a full-time position, please do not apply if you are only available part-time.

  • Participate in inventory control, ensuring adequate supplies of icing and decoration materials are available and stored properly.
  • Collaborate with the production team to implement any improvements or changes to cake designs and finishing techniques.
  • Assist in training new staff on the specific techniques and standards of the company’s cake finishing process.
