Duties
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications
- Create visually appealing designs using various cake decorating techniques
- Ensure cakes are finished and presented in a professional manner
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during the cake decorating process
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery of cakes
- Package finished cakes for pickup or delivery
- Assist with catering orders as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or pastry shop preferred
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and tools
- Familiarity with food production and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
