As a Cake Decorator, you’ll play a vital role in our bakery, bringing joy to our customers with beautifully decorated cakes for various special occasions. You will work in a friendly and dynamic environment, collaborating closely with our team and customers to craft custom designs that match their celebrations. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you create eye-catching decorations and ensure each cake is a masterpiece. Key Responsibilities Expertly decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity to meet customer requests. Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide personalized cake designs for events. Maintain a clean workspace and uphold food safety standards in all decorating practices. Assist in the baking process and preparation of other baked goods as necessary. Manage inventory of decorating supplies and communicate needs to the bakery management. Keep abreast of new trends in cake decorating to enhance skills and offer fresh ideas to customers. High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is advantageous. Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing your skills. Strong artistic flair and creativity in cake design. Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.
