Duties
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests, ensuring high quality and appealing designs
- Bake and prepare cake bases, fillings, and frostings
- Follow recipes and instructions to create consistent and delicious cakes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area
- Package finished cakes for display or delivery
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the safety of customers
Experience
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of various cake decorating techniques and tools
- Familiarity with baking, cooking, and working in a food industry setting
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill their requests
