POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Level 3 Cake Decorator to join our production team. This is a lead-level position requiring advanced decorating skills, efficiency, and the ability to manage one’s own workload independently. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing immaculate wedding cakes, tiered cakes, and custom designs at scale.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of professional cake decorating experience.
  • Expert-level skill in buttercream, fondant, tier stacking, and carved cakes.
  • Strong artistic ability, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Decorate high-end cakes, including wedding cakes, carved cakes, and multi-tier cakes.
  • Produce flawless finishes in buttercream, ganache, cream cheese, and fondant quickly.
  • Independently manage daily/weekly order workload with minimal supervision.
  • Fill retail vending machine with fresh product.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all production orders.
  • Mentor and support junior decorators, setting the standard for quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory of decorating supplies and communicate needs proactively.
  • Uphold strict food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
  • Assist with the development of new seasonal and signature cake designs.
  • Step in as needed to meet urgent deadlines or large-scale orders.
