Job Description:
Are you a creative pastry artist with a passion for making beautiful and delicious desserts? Do you love the challenge of creating custom cakes and desserts that are as stunning as they are tasty? As a Cake and Pastry Decorator at DB Dessert Company, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your artistic vision to life, delighting our customers with picture-perfect desserts that make every celebration special.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and pastries according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Work closely with our team to create and execute seasonal and special event dessert menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, helping clients with their cake design ideas and ensuring their experience is memorable.
- Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, including baking, prepping, and stocking & customer support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cake decorating and pastry arts, with a portfolio showcasing your work. Experience can be professional or hobby work but must be able to share images of work.
- Experience working in a retail bakery or similar environment is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative flair for designing and decorating.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of various cake decorating techniques including fondant work, piping, and sculpting.

• Cookie decorating techniques highly preferred
