Fixed-term from start of August to end of October Part-time to full-time (guaranteed 20 hours per week) Drive in/Drive out Located in West Eyreton, 10 minutes from Oxford and 25 minutes from Rangiora. THE OPPORTUNITY Join our team on Eyrewell Dairy and play a key role in rearing our next generation dairy cattle. You’ll be responsible for caring for young calves - feeding, weighing, drafting, drenching, and monitoring their health and welfare. You may also assist with milking and general farm duties. Flexibility is essential, as hours can vary depending on seasonal demands. This is a drive in/drive out role, so reliable transport is required. The fixed term runs from the start of August to end of October, with a minimum of twenty hours a week guaranteed, can be additional hours in busy weeks. THE FARM Located in West Eyreton, 10 minutes from Oxford and 25 minutes from Rangiora. This is a 400 effective ha farm and milks 950 cows through a 60-bale rotary, rearing heifer replacement calves. The location offers easy access to a range of recreational activities.
