As a Leader, Human Resources Information Management (HRIM), you will be responsible for leading data integrity and developing information management principles including solutioning data delivery challenges within the PeopleSoft environment. as well as supporting automation initiatives. Leveraging subject matter expertise and technical skills, you will identify and recommend solutions and HRIM strategies through research, gap analysis, value-based information, integration, and continuous improvement. Primary duties include:
- Develop and implement HRIM initiatives, processes, and information flow for the employee lifecycle.
- Provide strategic position management support to Senior Leaders for their staffing planning. This includes solutioning the information management component of complex staffing challenges in a 24/7 first responder environment.
- Implement data delivery solutions and staffing reports to Calgary Police Service (CPS) Senior Leadership.
- Identify priorities for data quality assurance and coordinate audits within PeopleSoft.
- Provide training and direction to HR leaders and HR Business Partners on Information Management and The City of Calgary processes.
- Provide oversight on position information for employee movements, onboarding/offboarding, vacancies, and ensure associated position information is retained and accurately tracked.
- Solution and implement processes for HCM data integrity based upon changes to things like the collective agreements.
- Identify gaps in HR business processes that impact position management and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Facilitate HRIM projects that have Service-wide impacts.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the CPS HRIS Data Specialists, and quality assurance on key reporting to Senior Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A diploma equivalent to 2 years of full-time study in Human Resources, Business or Technology with a minimum of 7 years of experience; OR a degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years related experience within Human Resources Information Management.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience with sustainment activities in a complex environment, specifically supporting an HCM/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution lifecycle is required.
- Experience in a unionized, law enforcement or policing environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, coaching and development, managing resources, planning and prioritizing/visionary, relationship building, self-confidence, team building and teamwork.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
