Pay range is $18.00 - $21.00 / hour Calibration assistant is an entry level position, requiring no prior experience. This individual is expected to assist technicians as necessary to perform calibration work within the lab environment. Responsibilities Cleaning deadweight tester weights Cleaning the incoming equipment to be certified Changing out batteries on incoming equipment Cleaning the front inputs and filters Taking care of the preventive maintenance checks of our standards Ensure the preventive maintenance is completed on our generator and air compressor Assisting opening incoming boxes from UPS and FedEx Assisting in packaging units to be picked up by UPS and FedEx Assist in emergency pickup and delivery of units from local customers Assist with printing calibration certificates, matching calibration documentation to customer units, and performing visual inspection on customer units. Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with basic tools Ability to learn new skills Proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Basic organizational and time management skills Self- Starter Needs little to no guidance on daily tasks 3+ years driving experience with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver history Education and Experience This position does not require any formal education Physical Demands These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
