Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Individual contributor supporting the calibration department with

comprehensive knowledge in specific area.

  • Provide calibration services for all equipment in the calibration database.
  • Respond to production issues involving equipment calibrations.
  • Ability to execute complex or specialized projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the site calibration program and management
    system (Maximo) and associated assets, ensuring the site complies with

regulatory requirements.

  • Manage & co-ordinate calibration schedules and activities, including

external calibration service suppliers.

  • Interface with calibration service providers to resolve calibration related

issues.

  • Coordinate and execute calibrations according to procedures and record

data and maintain the calibration database.

  • Support calibration alert (out of tolerance) assessments including product

impact where required.

  • Support set up and decommissioning of new and existing equipment.
  • Maintain and promote good working relationship with other ADC/Abbott

Departments and external bodies.

  • Responsible for ensuring that the department Quality System is

implemented and its effectiveness if maintained.

  • Compliance with EHS regulations and Abbott Standards by adhering to and

maintaining EHS systems.
