JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Calibration Engineer to work on equipment calibrations in the field of medical equipment manufacturing and development. This quality relevant role owns all calibration related tasks including defining used calibration methods for both internal and external calibrations, develops the function, maintains calibration laboratory, ensures calibration records are compliant and ensures no late calibrations for the entire site including manufacturing and development. This role also represents the function in quality audits and is a calibration Subject Matter Expert for the entire site. This role manages yearly 265k Euros of turnaround for external calibrations and oversees a pool of equipment including 2000+ assets to be calibrated on a yearly basis.
Are you familiar in using tools such as multimeters, performing high voltage and leak current testers, familiar with flow measurements etc. Ideally we are looking for an experienced person with previous calibration experience and someone willing to grow even further into this field.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Technician background or Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Automation or equivalent
• Previous work experience related to calibration work and measurement devices
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• EU work permit

• Perform calibration of measurement devices and tools according to schedule
• Develop / define calibration methods for each device
• Maintain calibration procedures available and compliant for each device
• Maintain calibration records are compliant
• Maintain electronic tool tracking data is up to date (Calibration dates, certificates)
• Define needed calibration specifications for external calibrations
• Create Purchase Orders for external calibrations
• Guide, perform and oversee manufacturing and engineering people for doing internal calibrations
• Manage collecting equipment before calibration due date approaches
• Manage needed packaging for external calibrations shipping
• Manage Calibration Laboratory is compliant
• Mentor junior calibration people and interns
