Job Summary This Position is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of instruments, meters, gauges and other testing and measuring equipment. The goal of a Calibration Specialist is to ensure the accuracy and precision of the measurements taken using this equipment. Hourly Range: $23.45 - $32.95 Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and routinely inspecting calibration equipment to ensure it operates correctly and meets industry standards. Use specialized tools and techniques to test and calibrate equipment, ensuring that it performs within the acceptable range of tolerance. Ensure that the equipment is properly functioning and meets industry standards after repairs or upgrades. Follow established calibration procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results. These procedures are essential in maintaining the integrity of the calibration process and meeting industry standards. Ensures that measuring instrument provide accurate and reliable measurements, which is critical in our industries of Pharma, and Medical Devices. Must be able to identify potential issues with measuring equipment and determine the most effective solutions to resolve them. Understanding and use of specialized software to manage and document calibration activities. Must perform calculations and interpret numerical data to ensure the accuracy of measurements and calibrations. Communicates and conveys information clearly to clients, colleagues, and supervisors. Must be able to prioritize tasks, manage their workload, and complete assignments within established deadlines. Requirements: Pharmaceutical Experience a plus. A high school diploma or GED. Relevant industry certification. A minimum of 1+ years experience as a calibration technician. Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
