Job Description The Calibration Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure measurement accuracy. Job Responsibilities Maintain Calibration Log Perform calibrations per Calibration Procedures Perform calibrations per Calibration Master Log / Schedule Coordinate calibrations with Production and Engineering Departments as needed Document calibrations and prepare calibration reports, as required Schedule outside calibration services as required Review / Approve outside Calibration reports Maintain current Calibration records Maintain Calibration Records Archive Maintain control and traceability of Calibration Standards Other duties as assigned Requirements Education / Certifications High school diploma or equivalent Job Requirements Two years’ experience in the related field Perform calibrations on basic equipment such as times, calipers, etc. Read and understand all internal calibration procedures Basic understanding of NIST/17025 Good Math Skills Basic Computer Skills Advanced understanding of ISO 17025 Communicates with the outside Perform calibrations on more complex equipment such as comparators, pressure testers, etc. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation Days, Paid Holidays, 401k
