Description
Performs calibrations with the various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions. Prepares required documentation and maintains associated records. Conveys data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction. Escalates unusual product issues to appropriate department. Maintain all standards and M7TE. In a service center setting, analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to service center by customer. Associates in Science with focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience -OR—BS Physics, Electrical engineering or other technical degree. Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on-work. Understanding of Basic metrology concept preferred. (ISO 17025) Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. Good attitude. Meticulous. Works well in a team setting. Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed. Experience troubleshooting “electronic test equipment.” 6 months of experience using automated test systems Customer service center location or manufacturing site. Lifting and other physical requirements differ by product line and location.
