The Vacancy
The Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, inspection, and testing of instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements. This role ensures equipment accuracy and reliability in support of production and testing. Role also coordinates and tracks third party calibration for equipment.

Primary objectives

• Perform calibration and functional testing of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) including electrical, mechanical, dimensional, pressure, temperature, and flow devices.
• Document calibration results in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot and coordinate instruments as needed with external vendors for calibration
• Maintain M&TE tracking database ensuring proper labelling of all calibrated equipment including due dates and status
• Support internal and external audits by providing calibration documentation and ensuring audit readiness
• Provide technical support to production, engineering, and quality teams regarding measurement issues
• Provide feedback for improvement of calibration procedures
• Provide input on new M&TE purchases
