Description Call Center Representative Reports to Call Center Manager Starting Pay: Summary This position is responsible for doing everything necessary to maintain Louisiana Eye and Laser Center’s growth, patient and physician satisfaction. Essential Functions: Handling a high volume of calls on a daily basis and take appropriate action for each call. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: Strong computer skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent interpersonal communication skills Must be able to work some weekends Strong problem-solving abilities High degree of initiative Ability to multitask Effective time management Patient-centered Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience working in a professional Call Center that is fast paced with heavy call volume (Preferred) Experience working in the ophthalmology/medical field (Preferred) Medical terminology knowledge (Preferred) Physical demands Requires sitting for an extended period of time.
