Description

About the job

Do you love to build genuine connections, nurture belonging and enhance life? At Aveo, you can do just that and more. Join us and feel confident to embrace new challenges in our supportive culture. Bring your whole-self to work, grow as you learn new things and be rewarded through the joy of helping others. Together let's redefine retirement living for senior Australians.

Location: Aveo Brisbane Corporate Office, Newstead, QLD – 5 Days On-Site

Opportunity: Permanent full-time (Monday to Friday)

Reports to: Contact Centre Team Leader

The Opportunity

Ready to be the voice people hear first? As a Customer Contact Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for everyone from prospective Aveo residents to our internal sales and marketing teams - reporting to the Contact Centre Team Leader and backed by an award-winning Customer Service team. You'll get to know Aveo's products and services inside out, then connect people with exactly the right expert to take their next step. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday from our Newstead Corporate Office, with 7am availability needed so we can support Aveo communities across the country.

If you have a background in a customer service, this role is a great next step - whether you're looking to grow your career in a corporate environment, build your sales skills, or explore other areas of the business down the track. Make the switch to retirement living and bring your passion to life!

What We Offer

  • $29.98/hr + superannuation (equivalent to $73,803 per annum including super)
  • A fun, vibrant and award-winning customer service team culture (you'll love our team activities!)
  • Two (2) additional leave days per calendar year
  • Annual salary reviews and monthly commission opportunities
  • Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program
  • Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers
  • Annual flu vaccinations and skin checks
  • Opportunities for further career progression (e.g. progress into sales consultant roles)

You will

  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including prospective Aveo customers, current residents, family members or suppliers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Working alongside our internal sales teams to handle prospective leads from customers
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries for our Aveo communities and seamlessly transition the customer to our Sales experts
  • Maintain a high quality of call performance by delivering service that reflects Aveo's values
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date call records
  • Respond to email, web chat and Facebook enquiries as required
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to exceed KPI targets, but most importantly, contribute to a strong culture of team positivity and activities

What You'll Bring

  • You don't need call-centre experience to apply - it helps, but your people skills matter more
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a genuine interest in connecting with seniors
  • A fun and energetic attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft platforms, including Office and Teams
