Description Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following: Maintenance workers will be required to report to the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor. The HVAC/Call Tech position includes being required to fix anything that might not be functioning properly at the Resort and providing regular overall maintenance checks. This could be in the guests’ homes, or in any of the public facilities, as well as outdoors. Job Responsibilities/Requirements: Respond to guest calls to diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as required, involving the following daily: A/C and heating systems Electrical Plumbing Appliances Televisions Door locks Hot tub/spa, pool furniture Report all major repairs and work with department to schedule best time to handle major repairs Rekey locks Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to homes (or vice versa) if needed. Complete service requests promptly and efficiently. Follow up with Front Desk and / or Engineering Coordinator when service is completed. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 2+ years’ experience in maintenance property management EPA Universal Certification Required The ability to speak and understand English is required The ability to speak and understand Spanish is desired Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. information as required by daily operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must be team oriented and a problem solver. Always maintain professional appearance and manner. May be required to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priority/emergency situations. Stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 35 lbs. of equipment (pump, tools, ladders). Lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet. Climb ladders and stairs. Must have a valid driver’s license.
