Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems. • 2+ years of experience in Image Signal Processing design, development, implementation, and verification. • 2+ years of experience in camera hardware or systems design and optimization. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Leverages advanced Camera Engineering knowledge to research, design, develop, verify, debug, implement, and/or validate complex camera systems, HW or FW tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Features, and Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, design verification, and power optimization. • Performs architecture, IQ modules, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive complex requirements and specifications for hardware development. • Ensures advanced image quality, system performance, and ISP area and power metrics are met. Addresses customer/product requirements in functionality and results. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize camera systems, hardware, and/or software. • Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex Camera projects to guide users and/or customers to implement output. Level of Responsibility: • Works independently with minimal supervision. • Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group. • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc. • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions. • Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $122,500.00 - $183,700.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
