QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical understanding of camera systems (monochrome, colour, spectrums of light)
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing considerations and trade-offs in camera selection
  • Proven ability to evaluate camera performance beyond spec sheets
  • Deep experience in integrating cameras into hardware systems
  • Familiarity with sensor tuning for real-world environments
  • Thermal imaging, radar, or laser experience is a plus
  • Background in drones, automotive, or similar hardware-heavy industries is advantageous
  • Analytical thinker with a collaborative and hands-on approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities
  • Research, evaluate, and select optimal camera hardware and sensors for vehicle platforms
  • Own the full lifecycle of camera integration from initial testing to deployment from initial testing to deployment to calibration and others
  • Set up and configure camera and sensor systems across new hardware models
  • Conduct in-depth performance testing and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with AI, software, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Maintain technical documentation and testing protocols for hardware systems
  • Drive camera performance analysis beyond standard datasheet metrics
  • Contribute to the long-term sensor strategy as the company scales
