Description
CAMO Engineer supports the technical organisation in maintaining aircraft and ensuring its airworthiness. He/she supports the continuous airworthiness and assures an optimum availability of aircraft together with the System Engineers. Main Duties include: AMP Development and implementing recommendations and maintaining effectiveness. Liaise with OEM/Equipment Manufacturer in case of any queries related to Aircraft Maintenance Programme Maintenance check planning in line to approved manufacturer recommendations. Third party maintenance negotiations and coordination with MRO. Documentation and invoice verification of third-party maintenance. Technical publication review (AAR, SB, SL, etc.). Retrofit program administration and Management. Layover liaising with External/Internal Stake Holders. Supporting Senior Manager CAMO and Vice President Technical in regards to their duties. Qualification, Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or apprenticeship in Technical Profession equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree or holder of a Part 66 License. Six years as Planning/Support/CAMO Engineer in an Helicopter CAMO Environment. Proficiency in Maintenance systems i.e.Trax/AMOS. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Ability to make clear, rational decisions under pressure. Good communications, interpersonal and negotiating skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under demanding operational environments.
Responsibilities
The CAMO Engineer is responsible for maintaining aircraft airworthiness and ensuring optimum aircraft availability through AMP development and implementation. Key duties include liaising with OEMs, coordinating third-party maintenance with MROs, and reviewing technical publications.
