JOB DESCRIPTION:

A vacancy within the CAMO Services Team that is supporting the German Air Force (GAF) has arisen at Airbus Defence and Space in Wunstorf (Hannover Region).

REQUIRED SKILLS ERFORDERLICHE KENNTNISSE UND QUALIFIKATIONEN

  • Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline or Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer CAT A/B1/B2 License
  • Knowledge and at least 5 year experience in Airline Engineering and Continuing Airworthiness activities, mainly in Part M, Part 145 and Part 21
  • It will be valued experience and knowledge in Customer Services, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance and Planning Data Analysis, Configuration Management, Maintenance Documentation
  • excelent MS Office skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and team skills
  • High level of English and Spanish, German will be strongly valued
    For this activity, a security clearance is required or must be granted by the competent authorities.
    Remuneration: EG 11 NDS if the tasks are fully fulfilled

Responsibilities

Acting as a GAF CAMO-Element representative and playing the role of key partner within GAF’s internal organization, performing on-time, on-quality & on-cost in compliance with all aviation and national regulations to support ensure fleet availability.

Handling of maintenance and retrofit events for GAF A400M aircrafts carried out in Airbus MRO - Part 145 organizations like:

  • Planning of scheduled maintenance tasks to be performed.
  • Continuous monitoring of the event. Managing of potential showstoppers, findings, communication, clarifications and final release of the aircraft.
  • Quality control of all technical documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with DEMAR M and PERAM 145 regulations.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting of engineering documents implemented during a maintenance event, as well as their impact in the Configuration and Weight and Balance of the aircraft.
  • Focal point MRO – Part 145, being in close contact with the engine supplier (MTU). Configuration control.
  • Responsible for data transferring on time and on quality from MRO – Part 145 systems to customer systems

Analysis and managing of airworthiness documentation for all ATA chapters.
