WolfTrek is a workforce management company based in Alberta. We are currenting seeking a Camp Attendant/Medic for a small remote Oil and Gas operation located near Hay River, BC. The position will be a fly in and out from Edmonton airport and a 14/14 rotation, working in a remote camp environment.

Experience and Qualifications::

  • 1+year site medic experience
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent; and/or a combination of education or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, proven attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships.

Training & Certifications::

  • AFA (Advanced First Aid) certification is required.
  • Valid H2S Alive, Standard First aid, CSO and WHMIS is required.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience

Daily Duties:

  • email weather report / wildfire updates
  • responsible for operator check ins from 8:00 am to 7:00pm (operator check ins required maximum every 1.5 hrs)
  • deliver orientations for all new guests
  • check in/check out new guests and update room status sheet
  • bump test personal monitor
  • conduct radio check on emergency handheld radios
  • sweep and mop hallways and common areas
  • start and fuel quad if needed
  • clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces and towel racks
  • wash down all shower stalls and wash all toilets and mirrors, sweep and mop boot room
  • restock bathrooms with required supplies, sweep or shovel off front porch area
  • wipe down and disinfect medic room surfaces
  • disinfect all common area light switches and doorknobs
  • wash bedding and remake beds as guests leave
  • clean all coffee tables
  • clean ashtrays in smoking room
  • stock pop fridge
