Job Details Job Location: ALM-Camp Hidden Lake - Lexington, MS 39095 Job Category: Camp CAMP DISHWASHER Location: Camp Hidden Lake, Lexington, Mississippi Position Type: Temporary Full-Time Pay Rate: $300.00 per week This position is responsible for: Maintains the cleanliness of dishes, the kitchen, and food preparation equipment and utensils. Key Responsibilities: Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines as well as American Camp Association accreditation standards. Maintains and follows all health regulations (i.e., washing hands, keeping hair back, no open-toed shoes, no tank tops). Arrives 45 minutes before scheduled mealtime. Remains on the job during mealtimes. No sitting down, eating, or drinking during camper mealtimes or cleanup times. Keeps a daily account of dishwasher temperature. Report any problems with equipment to the Camp Dining Hall Supervisor. Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand after each meal. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Some physical requirements of the Camp Dishwasher position include endurance, which involves tasks such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to manipulate dishwasher equipment and perform related activities. Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available. Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU Six months of experience working in a kitchen preferred, or Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
