Description CAMP ELLI+ Summer 2026 - Support Creative and multi-talented camp guides are needed for a unique teaching and learning opportunity. We are is hiring camp guides at designated sites in Norwalk, Connecticut for the summer of 2026. Camp ELLI + is for children entering kindergarten with little or no experience in going to school. This camp will help prepare them for kindergarten. Camp will run from July 6 – July 31. Training the week of June 29. Possible hours pre and post camp may be offered. ELLI is a proven, evidence-based approach to early childhood education that embeds language and literacy skill building activities with science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) content to close the achievement gap for young children. Camp ELLI+ sites are fun, play filled-environments that engage campers through interconnected topics such as community, global awareness, health and the environment to enhance their understanding of the world. Camp ELLI+ guides are enthusiastic lifelong learners specially trained to facilitate children’s development using a peer learning methodology that is teacher-led, child-powered and parent engaged.
