JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Leader to oversee and facilitate engaging activities for children ages 6-18, in a fun and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a background in education or related fields. As a Camp Leader, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences that promote learning, teamwork, and personal growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with children in a recreational settings is essential.
  • Background in early childhood education, tutoring, or teaching is highly desirable. (Not a requirement)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children of various ages.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for fostering children’s development through play and learning activities.

  • Provide tutoring support or try to help in various subjects as needed to enhance campers’ learning experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized camp environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive camp program that meets the needs of all participants.
