Remote Camp Manager
Evolution Camp Services has an opportunity for a Camp Manager position at an expanding operation in the north central BC Cariboo District. The job responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and staff management of several camps.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a remote Camp Manager our operations, you will be required to be a self-starter who possesses effective skills in communication, time management and organization. This is a rotational position working 20 days on, 10 days off in a semi-remote camp site.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Managing the day-to-day activities of all assigned camps (multiple locations).
• Ensure all safety program protocols are effectively executed and maintained and all related appropriate paperwork is completed.
• Meet with clients and provide quality customer service checks while addressing their special requests and concerns in a prompt and effective manner.
• Assist in the training of all staff in remote camp locations, providing coaching, mentoring, and support networks to all employees.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll and daily and weekly meetings.
• Inspecting, evaluating and ensuring the camp cleanliness, food quality, presentation and controlling inventory meet or exceed Evolution Camp Services required standards.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain project budget; tracking occupancy, staffing and monitoring expenses on a daily basis.
• Performing administrative tasks which include liaisons with the client, overseeing the management of room bookings, preparing related reports and follow up.
• Troubleshooting minor maintenance problems if necessary.
