About the Role: The Camp Second Cook plays a key role in feeding the heart of Colville. You’ll assist the Head Chef in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that fuel our crews and keep spirits high. You'll keep things clean, organized, and badass—just like we like it. As a Camp Second Cook, You Will: * Safety First: Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to the letter—because safe food is serious business. * Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for camp participants and staff—hot, hearty, and always on time. * Manage inventory, track supplies, and help with monitoring food and supplies to make sure we’re always ready to serve. * Handle set up and cleanup of dining areas with pride and efficiency. * Work as a tight unit with the kitchen team to deliver top-notch meals and vibes. What We’re Looking For: Ideal Candidates Will Have: * Experience & Training: We welcome all levels of experience! Whether you're just starting your culinary journey, or you have experience as a cook or prep cook, we’re ready to provide training for the right candidate. * Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; valid Alaska Food Handler’s Card. (Must be able to complete upon hire.) * Skills & Qualities: * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task. * Experience with industrial kitchen equipment is a plus. * Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-hire non-DOT drug test (7-panel) and a Fit-for-Duty exam.
