Role Overview
As our Campaign and Event Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Planet’s most visible internal and external events and marketing campaigns. You’ll take a hands-on approach to mobilize cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring every initiative is delivered with excellence, aligned to our brand, and drives measurable impact. You’ll also analyze performance data to refine future strategies and maximize ROI.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead flagship campaigns and events from concept through execution and post-event/campaign analysis.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including messaging, channel strategy, asset development, and performance tracking.
  • Manage all formats of marketing events—internal, external, in-person, virtual, and hybrid.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Planet to ensure campaigns and events are well-attended, on-brand, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and manage vendor relationships, ensuring delivery to agreed standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Report regularly on campaign and event performance, including participation, engagement, and ROI.
  • Align closely with Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success to drive demand generation and post-event follow-up.
  • Track and quantify impact, using metrics to evaluate success and inform future planning.
  • Support vertical marketing teams with best practices and execution guidance for their campaigns and events.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience managing multi-format events and integrated campaigns in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident influencing stakeholders across geographies and job levels.
  • Proactive, upbeat, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like Pardot, Salesforce, and campaign performance dashboards is a plus.
