Description

Shout Media is a digital agency specializing in web development, digital marketing, and brand strategy. We also operate two internal divisions: Responder Recruitment, which supports public safety hiring initiatives, and Haven, a SaaS platform focused on training and compliance.
We are seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to join our team. The Campaign Manager’s primary duty is to ensure marketing campaigns are managed and organized properly. They work together with the Project Managers, Designers, and Ad Strategists to create, execute and monitor the performance of campaigns and provide all the resources required to meet the objectives and goals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The chosen candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years in a Marketing or Ad Agency is required.
  • Have a strong understanding of SEO and PPC strategies/best practices. This includes being up to date on the latest Google products and changes to best serve clients.
  • Strong familiarity with social platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn etc and an understanding of how to create content and leverage all the features available (Reels, Stories, shorts, Carousels, Polls, etc).
  • Understanding of the Meta Ads Manager/Google Ads platform and how to run ads
  • Ability to research and develop creative ideas and campaign direction, plan a content calendar, write post and ad copy.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content on social media platforms (can be personal content, previous client content, etc)

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop relationships and build strategies for both agency clients and agency employees
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of some of the following Digital Marketing tactics, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click (Google), Display Advertising, Google Analytics, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media Advertising and Management, and any other newly emerging traffic building and measurement programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging social media trends
  • Passion and drive for the industry.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, flex easily should projects or priorities shift, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, including working under deadline pressure.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience using project management software (Monday or Asana).
    This position is ideally based in Thunder Bay, Ontario with a hybrid work arrangement. However, we will consider remote applicants located within the Eastern Time Zone, and in some cases elsewhere in Canada. Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work here.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, your job responsibilities will focus around managing digital marketing campaigns, developing strategies and creating engaging and creative content for various social media and digital platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing campaigns and marketing strategies for clients. Strategize and create content calendars to guide content and strategy across various organic search, PPC platforms, and social media platforms.
  • Manage campaigns by scheduling design, ad copy, and media buys to various team members. As well as providing creative direction when necessary.
  • Organize marketing strategies, provide structure, determine priorities for involved team members. Make sure team members are staying on task and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure campaign implementation follows organizational guidelines. Supervise the execution, monitoring and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube), and other relevant digital channels.
  • Updating the PM on campaign progress
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring regular communication is held with the client. Send proofs and design concepts, receive feedback from the client, and provide clear direction to the Shout Media team to ensure the client’s needs and requests are addressed.
  • Regularly review your accounts and campaigns to offer new services and opportunities to Shout Media clients. Stay current with the latest technology and best practices
  • Monitor competition and provide continual recommendations for improvement
