Description

Minimize campaign occurrences on forward model programs through the campaign prevent process, improve design robustness and compliance with foundation documents/requirements through leading the technical design review process, and assist with facilitating reviews and decisions leading up to a field service action. For the Suspension and Steering systems: Lead the Technical Design Review process for all programs Lead integrating the campaign prevent and technical design review processes into one process where the separate bits complement each other. Ensure a process timeline and program schedule is current and followed. Support development of 14D's, Prevent Action Closure papers, and migration plans Participate in durability reviews BS Chassis/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); Master degree preferred Understanding of GPDS deliverables and basic Ford engineering tools including Teamcenter and buck environment. through launch experience Experience launching new vehicles Ability to handle complex tasks and challenging situations under compressed timing Experience communicating with senior leaders, design and release, manufacturing, and suppliers Outstanding planning, organizational and project management skills with proper follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives Strong One Ford Leadership Behaviors with demonstrated ability to drive and deliver results Effective coaching and mentoring skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross functional teams (Foundation Chassis, Design and Release, Program Management, Vehicle Operations, and Suppliers)
