We are looking to appoint a Support Technician to assist our experienced van conversion team, from our factory which is situated at Meriden Works, Birmingham Road, CV5 9AZ.
The successful candidate must be able to work using their own initiative, be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To assist camper converters with the prepping of vehicles including, stripping of metalwork, seats, removal of debris, cutting and lining.
· Operate CNC machine and run programmes provided.
· To help construct campervan furniture
· To assist colleagues in measuring, cutting, and installations,
· To liaise with camper converters to be prepared for their next stage of fitting and anticipate materials required
· To ensure vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and commissioned,
· To help facilitate transportation of vehicles as required.
· To follow instruction manuals/leaflets.
· To monitor stock levels and report any stock issues to management in a timely manner.
· To collect parts from local depots as required and assist with deliveries.
· To take vehicles for MOT, service inspections, as required.
· Keeping the workshop environment organised, clean and tidy,
· Adhering to health and safety regulations.
· To use hand and power tools
