What we need: We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of part-time permanent Campground Coordinator 2 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Mohican State Park in Ashland County. This position is budgeted for approximately 1700 hours/fiscal year and will work every weekend and also work some nights and holidays. The address is 3116 State Route 3, Loudonville, Ohio 44842. What you will do… Coordinate campground operations for Mohican State Park; Serve as a lead worker over seasonal staff; Assist park & campground visitors with disputes, questions, inquiries; Coordinate & handle special events. Starting hourly pay of $22.96/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $27.92/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Works outside exposed to weather. Formal education in arithmetic that includes multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in bookkeeping; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in first aid techniques; 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in operation & maintenance of park equipment & vehicles; valid driver's license. -Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
