Description We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Campground Janitor to help keep our campground clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. If you take pride in a job well done, enjoy working independently, and don’t mind being on your feet, this might be a great fit. This position is a seasonal position with full-time hours, from March - October. This position may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, and common areas Empty trash and recycling throughout the campground Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels Sweep, mop, and pressure wash facilities as needed Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management Assist with light groundskeeping or cleaning projects as assigned Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Qualifications Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable performing physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week. Responsibilities
The Campground Janitor is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all facilities, including restrooms, showers, and common areas, as well as emptying trash and recycling throughout the campground. They must also restock necessary supplies and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
