CAMPSITE WARDEN - EAST RIDING SCHOOL HOLIDAY DATES UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST 2025

Location: William’s Den, Adventure Play Attraction - located in North Cave, near York, Beverley and Hull, East Yorkshire

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a friendly Site Warden to monitor and maintain our campsite and work closely with our friendly team at William’s Den.
William’s Den is a unique Adventure Play attraction where families can enjoy a fun day out with their children and during the school holidays they can stay overnight in our neighbouring campsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide a warm welcome to campers and assist them in finding their perfect spot to pitch up
• Assist customers with any queries supporting the great service we provide
• Maintaining stock levels for the sale of our camping “essential items” from the log cabin, preparing rented fire pits and wood packs for customers
• Checks of facilities and some light site maintenance, bin and litter removal and simple cleaning duties of onsite showers and toilets
• Ad hoc support at William’s Den to assist with handyperson jobs if needed
• Ensure campers are parked thoughtfully and vacate the site on time
• Liaise with the Welcome Team to give updates on any customer needs
• Local knowledge is an advantage to share with visitors to enhance their experience and willingness to get involved in our fun events

THE ROLE QUALITIES:

This role suits an active, responsible, practical person prepared to ‘own this role’ and be flexible and self-motivated. A “hands-on” people person who would appreciate working outdoors in lovely surroundings overlooking the Yorkshire Wolds.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. A DBS background check will be undertaken. A First-Aid certificate is desirable or a willingness to train.
