Their duties include monitoring properties and interacting with the residents to ensure that routine maintenance is scheduled, and assisting tenants after hours as needed. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Overview: Hours: 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and as needed Breakdown of Responsibilities The responsibilities of Property Managers are: Walking the campus, observing and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Assisting tenants with maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution. Coordinating routine requests that need to be scheduled after hours. Responding to emergency calls. Assist with Investigating and resolving property complaints and rental violations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, education, experience and skill requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Previous experience working in a school, preferably elementary or primary Strong administrative skills, including excellent oral and written communications, operations and office management Comfortable with technology and adaptable to new systems Flexible and growth-mindset a must; discreet, motivated and able to take initiative; proactive and able to prioritize Ability to interact comfortably with children and adults Professional presence Interpersonal skills needed to meet with current tenants Organization and the ability to multitask efficiently Problem-solving to find effective solutions for a variety of potential issues Knowledge of rental contracts and property and anti-discrimination laws Compensation - $35.00 – Based on qualifications and experience. Work Environment and Physical Requirement Required to lift and carry up to a maximum of 25 lbs., in a correct manner consistent with the appropriate training provided by the School. Occasionally required to use hand to handle or feel objects, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, grasp, talk, hear, and walk during the course of employment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus. May use telephone, computer, copier, and other office equipment in the course of a day. May be required to sit while operating word processing equipment for approximately 2-3 hours daily, repetitive motion for typing and other keystroke needs.
