Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking hardworking professional part-time campus care aide to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents! Schedule: 2-3 Days per Week; Shift Schedule Varies - Some Weekend Availability Required Benefits: https://www.providencelifeservices.com/application/files/9517/3342/6965/PLS_HR_Benefits_Flyer_IL_IN.pdf The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily assistance and service in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Campus Care Supervisor. Additional work organizing and developing activities is also part of the essential functions. Summary of essential job functions Wellness Checks Medication Reminders Organizing activities Meal and Special Events Escorts Ted Hose Application and Removal Bed making and linen changes Emptying Trash Grooming and bathing assistance Walking Meal Delivery Laundry Services Pet Services (dog walking, feeding, watering and cat feeding, watering, and changing litter) Assist with the Admissions process and greet residents and family members. Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents. Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents. Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory. Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty. Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered. Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed. Requirements CNA Certified in the State of Illinois preferred. Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly. Must have a compassionate, empathetic, and nurturing personality. Previous experience in Campus Care or Assisted Living is necessary. EOE #LOW1
