SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Expect to be graduating in 2025 or had graduated in the last 3 years (2022-2024)
• A good bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Be able to demonstrate:
• A strong attention to detail
• Analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
• Good programming and data analytical skill would be an added advantage
• An interest in commodity and financial markets
• The ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively in an international team environment
• Leadership capabilities

The programme is designed to furnish you with a real job from Day One, providing hands on experience, opportunities to cultivate foundational trading skills and establish your own career path, while rotating through roles within our global trading job community.
Your first role will depend on your experience, but could include:
Trading Analytics - Performing fundamental market analysis for your commodity that includes using proprietary and third-party data to predict the differences between supply and demand and the resultant change in inventory in order to develop actionable market insights of where you see the market evolving and the opportunities for physical and derivative market positions to support commercial decision making by our trading teams.
LNG Optimization and Trading - Providing commercial support, building relationship with external parties and proactively seeking optimization opportunities within ExxonMobil’s LNG portfolio to deliver incremental value. This includes serving as scheduling/ delivery focal point to enable timely lifting and delivery of cargos within the global portfolio, developing and implementing delivery program, working with LNG Trading team to optimize cargo values and providing stewardship report.
Trader Development Program (TDP) - Candidates with an interest in a long-term career as a Trader may be selected for our Trader Development Program (TDP).
The TDP is designed to deliver a structured and rigorous learning experience to assist in the identification and development of best-in-class traders across all commodities at ExxonMobil. Those selected to join this program will develop the competencies needed to be successful as a trading professional by rotating through multiple roles across the Trading community. On-the-job training will be supplemented by formal multi-disciplinary training. At the end of the program, individuals who successfully complete a formal assessment, including real-life trading simulations, will continue their development in a series of trading roles with increasing responsibilities and market exposure.
