As a rural school, we are proud to be an active contributor to our local community and work to connect our students and staff with the Beaudesert Community.  As a school in the Mercy Tradition, we work collaboratively to ensure that students and staff at McAuley College are Known, Supported and Challenged.  This focus underpins our College touchstones of BELIEVE, LEARN, and SERVE.  At the heart of our community is our culture that has created our unique caring and supportive environment. Explore our school website to learn more about this amazing school and why McAuley College is a great place to work.Summary Provide vibrant faith, spiritual, and pastoral support to students while playing a key role in energising and enriching the religious life of the entire school community!   Location: McAuley College - Beaudesert (S) Start date: 13 July 2026  Work hours: 21 hours per week | 3 days per week Salary: School Officer Level 5 - $39.44/hour + super (School Salary Scale) Status: Term Time Continuing | School holidays are unpaid Ad close date: 17 June 2026 Contact: (07) 5542 3000  |  sbeaudesert@bne.catholic.edu.au  About the opportunity In this position you will be responsible for:  Participating in the planning of religious festivals and celebrations throughout the school year, highlighting the diversity of religious traditions and encouraging students to actively participate, promoting a sense of pride in their religious identity and culture  Assisting in the professional learning, engagement, and strategic support to build the school capacity, to deliver spiritual and theological development practices for staff, students and community members  Collaborating in developing, promoting and facilitating the implementation and evaluation of specific formation programs, professional learning and resources to support the school's Catholic Identity Strategy  Participating in the design, development, and facilitation of prayer, reflection and liturgical experiences, and facilitating programs that support the faith, spiritual, and pastoral development of students  Engaging and promoting the role of Campus Minister within the school and facilitating opportunities for involvement in the school community through initiatives, events and ceremonies.  About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:  Planning and coordinating religious festivals and celebrations with attention to detail and inclusivity of diverse traditions  Providing professional learning and strategic support to enhance spiritual and theological practices within a school setting for staff, students, and the wider community  Developing, implementing, and evaluating formation programs and resources aligned with a school’s Catholic Identity Strategy  Promoting and facilitating the role of Campus Minister, fostering active involvement through events, initiatives, and ceremonies  Designing and facilitating faith-based programs  Hold or be willing to successfully complete a Graduate Certificate in Religious Education (Campus Ministry) or equivalent as recognised by BCE (e.g. 4 units at university level in Religious Education or Theology or Ministry or similar related field  For this position you are required to be Catholic.    Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:  Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment  Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
