Description The Campus Operations Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean campus while supporting the mission, vision and values of Indian Rock Church and School. This role requires attention to detail and hands-on problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities and equipment to uphold the church’s ministry. Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry. Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety in compliance with local and state building codes and safety regulations Overseeing routine maintenance and repairs of campus buildings and grounds Helping facilitate campus readiness for Sundays Monitor building systems including, but not limited to HVAC, lighting, and security systems Manage cleaning and custodial services Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a professional and timely fashion Work in cooperation with all levels of management, support staff, personnel, church leaders, volunteers, members and guests to fulfil the mission of Indian Rocks Requirements Ability to read and follow manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions Experienced and knowledgeable in the use of equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, etc. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the: Mission Statement of Indian Rocks Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks Must be an active member of Indian Rocks as defined below: Regular attendance in worship services Regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group Committed to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
