JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Security Officer at ZAM FM, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Permitting entry by ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Providing assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Deterring criminal activity and misconduct, and performing other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position.
  • Hold a valid SIA License
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
  • Familiarity with report writing.
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
  • Trained in First Aid
  • Must have been in the UK 3 years.
  • It is absolutely ESSENTIAL that you must possess a clean ENHANCED DBS Certificate and an active subscription to the live DBS check service for this role.
