Do you have a passion for helping students thrive in their education? OneSchool Global NZ is looking for a committed Student Support Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join our team at the Auckland Campus based in Mangere Bridge. This role focuses on supporting students, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with students requiring high needs learning or behavioural support. About the Role: Work with a small group of students and on an individual basis throughout the day. Support students with their independent learning across a range of subjects. Assist in keeping students engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning goals. Collaborate with teachers to ensure the best support strategies are in place. What We’re Looking For: A caring and patient approach with a passion for helping students succeed. Brings a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic and patient approach to their support. Ability to work independently while following structured learning plans. Previous experience working with students with ADHD and students who have behaviour and learning challenges. Role Details: Hours: 30 hours per week , starting at 8:30 am (hours/ days can be flexible for the right candidate) Weeks: This role is a 40 weeks per annum position. School holidays off. Start Date: Term 2, 20th April or ASAP Fixed Term Contract until 11th December 2026, with possibility to be renewed for the following year. Location: OneSchool Global NZ, Auckland Campus.
