CAMPUS SUPERVISOR (0.33 FTE) NEEDED

Location: Champlain Valley Union High School
Campus supervisors develop positive relationships with many students. As a High School Campus Supervisor,
you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students who are struggling with behavioral
complexities. You will work closely with the school’s administrative team, teachers, and staff to ensure that
students receive the appropriate intervention and support needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to identify students who are struggling with behavioral issues.
  • Help to implement behavior intervention plans for individual students as instructed by house directors.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching and training on effective behavior management strategies.
  • Monitor student progress with administration and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Aid administration in conflict resolution and strategic maintenance of behavioral plans.
  • Communicate regularly with administration, faculty/staff and/or special services coordinators.
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress.

Other Duties include:

  • Monitoring hallways and common areas (cafeteria, Main Office lobby, Direction Ctr. lobby) from 7:30-3:30
  • Monitoring the lower and upper parking lots throughout the week
  • Monitor students and adults moving in and out of the building
  • Assisting House Directors and Administrative Assistants by locating and escorting students to the house offices to resolve attendance and discipline issues
  • Responding to security requests from main office
  • Supervising the bus loading area each day after school

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with students with behavioral challenges.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Passion for working with students and helping them succeed.
