Each interaction with workshop participants, faculty and fellow staff members, creates the Omega experience.  Job Description Campus Support Point Person: volunteer, part-time. Reports to Campus Support Supervisor. Summary The Campus Support Department is located in Omega’s parking lot where team members greet arriving and departing guests, staff, and faculty. Duties include parking facilitation, luggage transport; organize on-site Omega transportation services, dorm kit sales, and providing individual logistical support. Campus Support also coordinates with Reception, Guest Services, and Faculty Support in order to provide effective customer service. Campus Support staff ensure luggage is labeled correctly in order for it to be delivered to and from the parking lot in an efficient manner. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Enthusiastically welcome participants as they arrive in the Omega parking lot. * Direct participants to the next step of their arrival process in a timely manner. * Assist in monitoring the parking lot for both commuters and overnight guests. * Direct participants to the correct departments to get answers to their questions. Work Details * This position functions outdoors on the Omega Campus. * This is a volunteer, non-residential position. Weekday, weekend, morning, midday and evening availability may be required.  Physical Requirements * Ability to constantly work in outdoor weather conditions. * Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time * Ability to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions * Ability to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary * Ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. * Ability to workin a constant state of alertness and safe manner. * Ability to observe details at close range.  Required Experience/Qualities  * Must be available on Fridays and/or Sundays from 3-7pm. * Timely, reliable and service oriented individual. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Team player. * Alignment with Omega's mission, goals and core values. Volunteer Benefits Dining Hall Greeter are volunteers and are scheduled when the Omega campus is open, between mid-May through late-October. Responsibilities
