KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Specific knowledge of ISO and all forms and processes necessary to maintain certification in the Purchasing, Production, Assembly & Installation Process, NCRs, CPARs, Internal Audits, etc.
  • Ability to identify concerns and appropriately and efficiently take corrective actions.
  • Ability to work in the field from time to time and be familiar with testing processes for equipment and systems.
  • Ability to perform mechanical repair tasks; manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination are necessary.
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to reach, lift, and maneuver objects of carrying dimensions and weights up to 30 pounds (or personal ability).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to hand tools, equipment and work environment and take precautions as per training and safety policies (DATS & ISO 45001)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Inventory Controller and Wiring & Testing Technician is responsible for procuring material and equipment required for manufacturing, field installation, construction, as well as, participating in wiring and testing products for customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process all orders required for production and construction projects according to needs and budget.
  • Utilizing ISO documentation for all processes including purchasing documents, receiving documents, project tracking and work instructions in coordination with production and testing.
  • Work with production and project managers to implement company policies, goals, and ISO processes.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure that orders and lead times are in line with production and construction deadlines and adjust if necessary.
  • Ensure inventories are maintained at proper levels so production proceeds without interruption and according to schedules.
  • Ensure that products meet levels of quality as indicated by project specifications and governing bodies and according to engineering bills of material and requirements (i.e., CSA, TSSA, & AREMA).
  • Additional responsibilities as instructed.
