About This Opportunity We are looking for a versatile and customer-focused professional who brings a positive, team-oriented attitude and is committed to delivering all-inclusive support across customer service, order management, and on-site inventory operations. This is a hybrid role, divided approximately 50/50 between office-based purchasing and customer support responsibilities with on-site operational activities. This position requires flexibility and the ability to perform physical tasks, including supporting inventory movement, coordinating with warehouse operations, and resolving hands-on problems in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal Candidate is energetic, dependable, and collaborative—able to communicate effectively and build strong, respectful working relationships with customers and internal team members alike. Summary of Responsibilities Customer Support & Order Management Action customer requests received through multiple channels, from quote to order Processing and managing orders in the shared inbox as required Provide knowledgeable and timely responses to requests regarding products, pricing, and availability Review and track back-orders with inventory planners and team members; communicate updates clearly and offer alternatives when applicable Resolve issues related to delivery, inventory, and invoicing, including processing returns and replacement orders Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers to ensure a consistent, best-in-class service experience Inventory, Planning & On-Site Operations Perform planning and inventory coordination activities in collaboration with team members to support customer demand Receive, stock, and organize inventory, including designated areas. Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records Replenish all vending machines and Point-of-Use (POU) stations Pull orders from the Tool Crib for customer walk-up requests in a courteous and service-oriented manner Skills and Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in customer service, procurement, inventory, or planning within an industrial environment preferred Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a supportive culture. While comfortable working independently.
