POSITION SUMMARY…

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Strategy will be responsible to support the exploration, assessment and development of the long-term B&M and eCommerce Supply Chain Strategy through business model create and analytics. Works in collaboration with cross functional teams, to chart a new path forward for Walmart Canada.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with cross functional teams to help in the development of the vision and ambition of our OMNICHANNEL supply chain strategy across all B&M and eCommerce channels.
  2. Support the assessment of the potential initiatives and launch timelines with cross functional teams to support the long-term vision of WMT Canada Supply Chain.
  3. Lead the analytics to translate data into insights on current state assessment, gap analysis, opportunity evaluation, with the goal to innovate and evolve to improve the customer and associate experience.
  4. Track and ensure strategic projects and related financials are accounted for in financial plans.
  5. Support the Project Manager in monitoring and holding cross functional teams accountable on progress of strategic projects.
  6. Contribute to the preparation and development of presentations to internal stakeholder groups.
  7. Work with cross functional partners to provide assessments the potential value size of potential new ideas and work to identify the feasibility of launching those initiatives. Supports the Project Manager with feasibility analysist.
  8. Provide input and support the business case creation of new initiatives that improve B&M and eComm supply chain and customer value proposition.
  9. Support the definition of the OMNICHANNEL network designs, as well as Assortment Strategies for B&M and eCommerce (FBSs, FBFCs and WFS) by providing business analysis for decision making.
