Summary Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America (YOHTA) is a subsidiary of The Yokohama Rubber Company, a global leader in the tire industry with over a century of innovation and excellence. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, YOHTA distributes and sells a comprehensive range of agricultural, forestry, industrial, construction, and off-the-road (OTR) tires across North and South America, as well as a line of commercial truck tires. Our products are marketed under the well-established Yokohama, Alliance, Galaxy, and Primex brand names. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales US & Canada AM.   The ideal candidate will need to reside in Alberta or Saskatchewan and will be required to travel up to 75% weekly. At this time, medical benefits will not be offered.   Responsibilities * Contributes to the overall growth of the Region assigned by developing a market entry and penetration strategy, along with growing sales with new and existing customers. * Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with overall corporate goals * Analyze market trends and customer needs to determine pricing strategies and discount structures * Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events to promote products and strengthen brand presence * Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key clients and partners * Build and maintain strong relationships with major accounts, assisting in negotiations and deal closures * Prepare periodic sales reports outlining performance metrics, growth opportunities, and potential areas for regional expansion * Monitor competitor activities and market developments to identify risks and opportunities   Requirements * 10 to 20 years’ experience in the tire sales industry or a tire related field * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience will be considered * Proven track record of successful sales leadership * Strong industry knowledge in off-highway tires (specifically agriculture segments) and market awareness * Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Highly organized — able to prioritize tasks, plan resources, and set realistic goals * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel * Dependable — follows instructions, meets commitments, and maintains accountability * Self-starter — demonstrates initiative, seeks opportunities, and takes calculated risks * Willing and able to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory Compensation Range: $105,000 - $115,000 plus commission  Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, America provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.   This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
