Description

Located just outside Edmonton, Alberta, Synergy Aviation Ltd. utilizes a fleet of Robinson R44 helicopters and Cessna 172 airplanes to provide aerial surveillance and pipeline integrity monitoring, specialized geomatics, remote pilot operators, chartered flights, and tours.

We are looking for self-directed and motivated AMEs to join our busy maintenance department. AMEs are based out of the Villeneuve Airport, with minimal required field work and no extended tours away from base. Ideal applicants should have AME experience on either Robinson R44 helicopters or Cessna 172 airplanes. Experience on similar types will be considered as well.

  • Conduct maintenance on aircraft
  • Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
  • Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate
  • Troubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectification
  • Assist with sheet metal / avionics repairs as needed
  • Applicants must be willing to work on both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft as required
  • Hold a current Transport Canada M1 AME license
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong observational, decision-making and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
