Responsibilities The Cancer Care Liaison is responsible for providing information, support, encouragement, and assistance in overcoming barriers for patients and caregivers in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high quality patient-centered care throughout the continuum. The Cancer Care Liaison works under the supervision of the assigned Coordinator. Qualifications REQUIRED: 1. Bachelor's degree AND one year of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2. Ability to read and interpret medical terminology. PREFERRED:1. Experience in a patient care clinical or medical environment; oncology- related experience preferred. 2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Work Hours: 8:30a-5p Weekend Requirements: No
